Anyone else get an updated Ready when Checking Consulate?

Three weeks ago, we checked our status and it said updated June 17, 2016 - Ready.

Today I log in because we didn't receive any packet for interview and its status was again updated but on July 14, 2016.

I still do not have email - I've been checking spam mail too.

Did this happen to anyone else? I've emailed the Consulate in Morocco (Casablanca) about the interview with the two status updates.

Have you thought about calling the NVC to see when your interview date is.

Does the NVC respond to this? I thought because it was at consulate that the consulate sets that up?

We got our interview letter from the NVC prior to our case even showing "READY"

for k1 the NVC doesn't schedule the interview. Interviews come straight from Casablanca. Any word yet on your date? I would keep emailing both emails acscasablanca@state.gov and ivcasablanca@state.gov

K1 interview notices come from the Embassy, Marriage visa interview notices come from NVC.

HI. I had the same experience. Finally we just filed the ds-160 and then paid the fee and scheduled the interview. There was no problem. It is confusing because you are led to believe the consulate will contact you but you have to start the process by applying for the visa ( filing the ds-160).

We were told they sent it back to USCIS in States so filing FOIA at USCIS and also asking legalnet for more information.

 

We are going to file CR1 instead because the K1 is pain.

 

Good luck with your case!!! Hopefully, you will get your visa soon. Did you already register on the site for visa? If your passport is still there, and you didn't register for the visa online, it could be a reason that it still held up.

Ohhh I'm so sorry about your case, yes I registered with aramex, and my case they keep telling me it on AP

Oh that sucks. Hope it speeds up.

Wish these people would remember that we are all people not just case files.

Indeed,  I don't know if they have given visa to anyone that went for visa that very day 9th September 2016. I mean the k1 visa. I'm just praying for God to make them speed up with my case, it's already five months now.
