Good Morning,

Time does fly. So we are fixing to send in our I-751 package today but we have a few questions.

1.) Is there a need to use the binder clips or paper clips or anything like that? We basically have everything in one pile and the two checks (I-751 fee and biometrics fee) on top of our cover letter.

2.) After going to the post office and looking at what they have our stack of paper work won't fit in an envelope so we have a medium flat rate priority mail box is this acceptable?

The actual I-751 form was pretty straight forward. I also wanted to see if our information on our cover letter sounds like enough info.

-Copy of green card and social security card

-Copy of both of our drivers licenses with our current addresses

-Two sworn affidavits by family and friends

-Copy of filed jointly tax returns 2014 and 2015

-Copies of health insurance, including original enrollment forms, family access authorization, medical bills, insurance claims and insurance cards

-Copies of HSA account with beneficiary and authorized user on the account and copies of credit cards

-Copies of all 401k accounts with beneficiary information

- Copies of both of our HIPAA Release forms, Declaration of Guardian in the Event of Later Incapacity or Need of Guardian, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physicians and Family or Surrogates and Last Will and Testaments

-Copies of joint bank account statements

-Copies of joint Health Club Memberships

-Copies of 3 joint credit cards with statements, credit cards and purchases

-Copies of joint Cell Phone bill statements

-Copies of pictures, airline reservations, accommodations, car rentals and mail stops from 7 trips we have taken together since October 2014 (when we got the green card)

-Copies of our animal adoption paper work with both our names on it

-Copies of miscellaneous cards and package receipts from both our families and pictures with family and friends.

Does this sound like a lot of information to be sending? I am not on the mortgage for the condo. This was not a place we purchased together but I moved into. When we plan to move to a bigger place we will both be on the mortgage but not right now.

Any input from anyone on my questions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and happy Monday!!!!

Your list looks good. Use rubber bands or big clips if you need to. We got fancy with ACCO clips and tabs. They like those, but you'll have a lot of people tell you it's not really necessary.

Good luck!

That list of evidence: great! We used binder clips, and had to use a mailing box as well. It's good to separate everything with a cover sheet on each section, with your number on it, telling them what they're seeing. Not mandatory, of course, but to me, anything that makes it easier for them to get through a mound of evidence is a good thing.

Good luck!

We put ours in one of those see through folders with a string at the top and used a lot of paper clips. We clipped our check to the cover letter and wrote on the cover letter : PLEASE SEE ATTACHED CHECK >>>> and highlighted that line. Our check was cashed a few days ago and received NOA1!

Thanks everyone for your input. We ended up using binder clips and cover sheets for each section. At least there is a sense of relief if they tip the box out or over there won't be 600 sheets all over the place.

We were suppose to do two separate checks correct? One for I751 filing and one for biometrics?

Thanks so very much.....time to roll the dice and get it in the mail! :dancing::dance:

I did not see joint auto insurance in your list. But you probably included that. We did not include copies of SS card. Anyway, let's cross our fingers and wait....
