RFE Timeout

I just recently sent in my I-129F and received e mail stating my receipt number.

I submitted my divorce certificate and not the divorce decree with the many pages of terms of settlement.

Do I wait for the dreaded RFE or can I submit the decree with all the pages of terms now to stop the potential RFE?

If I do get an RFE how long of a delay can I expect ?

You wait for the RFE. If that's the only RFE you get it's an easy RFE and it'll probably not take more than two weeks to get approved once they've received it. But sometimes it does take longer, and sometimes it goes faster.

The same thing happened to me. However, my mistake wasn't caught until the interview at the Vietnamese consulate (I was there). The CO asked about my missing "official" divorce decree. I gave him the official court copy and that was enough. Visa approved. Not a big deal. You'll be OK. If RFE, maybe 2-4 weeks delay.

If you send in a photo copy of the (whole) divorce decree that's fine with USCIS, but most embassies will want the certified and signed copy for the interview.
