Hello! We filed the i601a for my husband and it was approved in March. Got interview in El Salvador June 29th. He went to the interview and everything went fine pending his physical exam. He had to do this two days later due to the clinics being full. He was told to send the results with his passport to the embassy. They were sent on July 2nd. Up until now, the ceac case status has said administrative processing (updated July 5). The us travel check my passport page has said "your passport is being delivered to post" since then. However, when I checked the passport status this morning,, it said "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted." Ceac status is still the same. Could this be a signal that the passport/visa is going to be processed soon?

CEAC changed to "ready" yesterday, then back to AP when I checked this morning. From what I've seen on other threads, this could mean that the visa is being issued soon. I'd love to hear other experiences with this, especially with this particular embassy.
