Vaccination records unavailable

Hi everybody,

We are currently filling out the DS-260 for my parents in law.

One of the questions on there asks if they have their vaccination records. They have gone all the way back to their birth cities ..dif doctors.. Literally everywhere and nobody can provide them with their vaccination records because its been sooo long since they've done it. Both of my husbands parents are in their 50s.

What can we do about this? Has anybody exeriences this before? What should we do? Can they get denied if i answer no? I am not sure what to do :(

If they don't have their vaccination records you say say no and they will receive any and all needed vaccines at the medical exam.

Do you suggest that they visit their primary physician prior to the medical? I heard if you do it during your medical exam they will rip you off like crazy, the costs are insane? I jst read cpl of posts on here ppl suggesting to visit a primary doc instead of waiting until the medical.

They can do that yes. Depends on the health care costs in your country.

I heard for one of the vaccines that females are supposed to receive. I forgot the name :(

Same case no vaccination records :(... it was either in Bosnia or Serbia one of those and the person had to pay 1800 for one vaccine and I actually found it on VJ here.

I dont want my parents in law to wait until their medical and end up having to pay those high costs. I rather have them visit their primary doc and have them done.

But at the end of the day i am not even suprised that it costs a lot :/ many of us from US are used to these high medical costs lol if u dnt have insurance.

Do any of you know where i can find what vacccines are required???
