Name Change on passport and travelling for international student

Hello,

I am residing in united states on F-1 visa. I got married recently and now I want to have surname of my husband on my passport. Now If go for name change in passport my old passport with student visa will be cancelled. My student visa is valid till 2017. Now if I get my new passport with new name, do my Visa on old passport are valid or do I have to transfer them by reapplying again. Also how chnaging name with new passport would affect my travelling back to my country and again entering in united states. Is it okay to travel on my maiden name without changing my name and getting new passport. Please guide me what should I do?
