Mischievous patrons at the iconic Four Seasons restaurant have recently turned its trademark decorative pool into a bowl of human gazpacho to mark the Midtown eaterys impending closure.

To the alternating delight and disgust of surrounding diners, customers have made sport of splashing around the ornamental pond to take grinning selfies bound for Instagram.

With the restaurant slated to serve its last meals on Saturday, the focus has suddenly shifted from dining to diving.

Social media sites have suddenly been flooded with Four Seasons pool images, with one Instagram exhibitionist stripping down to briefs to indulge in the trend.

Even etiquette guardian Martha Stewart took the opportunity to lounge next to the pool for an Instagram portrait. Showing restraint, she never actually entered the water.

Here I am in the Pool Room, she captioned her shot.

But not everyone is amused by the sudden suspension of civility.

Real estate developer Aby Rosen, one of the owners of the Seagram Building, which houses the space, blasted the dining room aquatics.

Rosen posted an Instagram photo of three men two of them half-naked frolicking in the bubbling bro bisque as diners nosh on pricey entrees in the background.

Friday night, the caption read. Disgrace and no respect from the tenant leaving.

But the unlikely pool party continues to rage.
