Hello all,

I just had interview, and I was approved for CR-1 visa. Technically, I was given a 221(g) because I had a hospital issued birth certificate instead of a government issued one.

I went to my home, and managed to find my government-issued birth certificate and realized that I was mistaken about my grand father's middle name my entire life. I am used to putting "nath" instead of "lal".

I already turned in the birth certificate.

However, I am wondering if we are asked for grand father's name at any time in the process.

I searched through all files during the course of our process, and could not find any spot where they asked for grand father's name.

I am asking because I am little worried, and want to amend as soon as possible.

Thank you.

At no point in time for the cr1 have you been asked fornyour grandfather's name.
