Thank you. So its true that it does not apply to my case as I already have my interview schedule? Just to update everyone. My original embassy schedule is last May, but I was required to have a sputum culture in my medical that's why I had a 2 month delay. Now I was able to re-schedule this July rather than August. I saw on the Visa Calendar that July 2016 EB-2 is still current. It will retrogress to 2014 by August 2016. And since my interview is this July already does this help? or change anything? Even if the retrogression announcement was made public in the visa bulletin this July?

Yes, having your interview moved to July helps tremendously. A visa can be issued to you in July when your PD is current. A visa can not be issued to you in August when your PD is not current.

Did you change the interview from August to July or did the US Embassy make the change?

The August 2016 VB was released on July 11, 2016. It becomes effective on August 1, 2016.

The time of adjudication is the interview.

Please read my prior posts from the last 3 years where I have helped people with retrogression.

adjudication is in the interview? are you sure about that? well, good luck with people who will believe in that. as far as I know adjudication happens in USCIS.

My original Interview date was May 2016, I was not able to attend it due to my medical exam delays. Now I rescheduled it to July 2016. So I did the rescheduling since I am originally set for May interview. I just did re-scheduled earlier when I saw a slot become available this July.

Adjudication means to judge or settle. If the adjudication was judged or settled at USCIS, then why have an interview? What is the interview for but to judge or settle whether the person can be granted a visa?

even if his interview is on august. he will still receive a visa because he already have ID. i don't know if you know how to understand or you only know how to read? i am a lil bit confused right now.

No, he would not have received a visa in August. His PD would not be current in August, and he would not be eligible for a visa.

I do know and understand retrogression because I have experience with it. I have helped many people with prior retrogressions.

You are confused, yet you know the answers. #######.

It's still good guidance. Do you think retrogression is different this time? Please tell us why this is no longer good guidance and is obsolete in your opinion.

From several US embassies.

http://bolivia.usembassy.gov/the-visa-interview-and-adjudication.html

STEP 5: THE VISA INTERVIEW AND ADJUDICATION
If additional administrative processing of your visa is needed, this process can delay the final adjudication of your case.
Step 7: The Visa Adjudication
Step 7: The Visa Adjudication
-------------
Adjudication is completed and settled when the decision is made at or after the interview to grant or deny the visa.

lucid.
You need to stop giving advice when you don't know what the words mean.
You even advised a rich person seeking a visitor visa to get LPR status. You didn't even understand that would make his worldwide income taxable as an LPR when all he wanted was to visit.
Just stop giving advice if you don't know. Guessing is going to confuse people and mess up their lives.

I'd rathe not go on the level of your understanding but to make things clear for both of you why don't you ask USCIS on where the adjudication is. i140 or interview. Hope that the answer of USCIS will give light to those dark CS of yours. :)

You have no idea when the case is adjudicated, but you will argue about it. Wonderful.

Hi everyone, just to give everyone an update. I was done with the interview last week. And my CEAC status already shows "issued" but still no visa at hand. I tried to retrieve where my passport is it says: still with the US embassy. Now I'm scared if my visa is really issued or I have been affected by the retrogression since its already Aug 1 and still I don't have my visa at hand.
