I called the Us Embassy in Manila regarding the K1 visa petition i have filed. It was approved june 9, 2016 and was received and forwarded by the NVC to the Philippines. The lady told me that i needed to wait for 2-3 weeks before they email the eligibility letter. And she saw base on our case # that i scheduled the interview without waiting for the eligibility email.

Does it really take 2-3 weeks from the time nvc forwards the case to them before they send the eligibilty letter via email.???????

I already scheduled the interview on August 1. And my fiance is about to go on medical in st. Lukes on July 21.

Is there somebody waiting like me filing in the Philippines?????

You don't have to wait for the letter, she can proceed with the medical as scheduled. Have you checked all the requirements for K1 at the US EMbassy website? Just follow that.

I received the embassy letter almost 2 months from our approval date. Most people don't wait for it and it was not necessary on the next steps.

You can PM me if you need more help.

Got it.

I scheduled the interview on Aug1.

And my fiance will do his medical in st lukes on july 20.

I dont have to worry w/o the eligibility letter, packet 3 and 4.

Id made sure he has the interview appt letter and the screenshot of the ceac ready for interview on the day of his scheduled interview.

Yes i believe what you say that mailing system there are so unreliable even the private companies.

Id make sure he will be able to comply with the required docs for medical and interview.
