All of these country has EB2 current and now they are all in retro with the same date 01FEB2014. what do you think happened? Is this possible or just a standard procedure to make sure that visa is available?

Will this be current next month or in October? Any thoughts?

It may progress but current is likely to take a long time.

Am I still affected by this? I am already scheduled for interview on August at the US Embassy. Mine is also EB-2. When I checked my visa status it indicates: Ready. Im also done with my medical exam at SLEC. So Am I still affected by the retrogression? since my visa is still not ISSUED officially? Pls answer me. So should I still come to my embassy interview? or cancel it already?

I think I will disagree with you on this. i think it will be current on the next fiscal year or probably next month there will be at least a year of movement.

if you've been schedule for interview already it means they already allocated a visa number for you. so YES, go and attend your interview on august, by the way, when was your case got completed?

Hi Lucid, USCIS approved the petition for me in Nov 2015. Well I completed submitting all my civil documents last Feb 2016 pa. Then received my interview schedule in April 2016. But when I had my medical they required me to undergo the sputum culture which explains the 2month delay. so my supposed May interview is moved to August. Now I'm about to be released by SLEC andI already rescheduled my interview. I hope I gave you an idea on when my case was completed. Why did you ask? will it matter? So I will attend the interview? One of the peeps here in the forum said that even if I attend the interview my visa won't be issued because my priority date is not current. That's why I am confused

i am certain that they will issue you a visa. those whose application still in NVC or even if the case is completed already but no ID. then those are the people that will be affected by the retro. those who already have an ID will NOT be affected.
