When do they update the account info at the USCIS site?

I set up an account at myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov when I received my NOA1 after sending in my N400. Since I had my biometrics appointment on June 15, though, nothing has been updated. My account still shows just this:

5/28/16 Appointment Scheduled
5/21/16 Account Acceptance Notice

Should the record indicate that I went to my biometrics appointment and that they have my fingerprints and photo? Or does the site not update until they have another notice to send me?

It's been 4 weeks today since my biometrics appointment. I don't know of anything that could make my application take longer than usual.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

speaking for ourselves here, if you choose the option of using the "new" site which has a link towards the top of the account page, that will take you to their new beta site.

that webpage should then show you that the biometric appointment was completed.

Other than that, it appears its a waiting game until they finish up the FBI background checks and then you're put "in line" for the interview scheduling.

If you have given them your mobile number and an email, you're going to get updates there too...

Having said that, we have not received anything yet showing we are in line, but we only did our biometrics (early i may add) on 6/27 instead of going on the scheduled 7/5/2016

POE Houston July 15th 2013

GC arrived in mail Aug 12th 2013

SSN card arrived in mail Aug 19 2013 (1 week after applying)

Thanks! I went to the "new" site before but didn't see anything about about the biometrics being completed. I see it now. I was worried that the data hadn't gotten to where it needed to go.

Based on other people's timelines, it looks like people receive notifications that they're in line for an interview either a few days after their biometrics appointment or 4 weeks later. It's been just over 4 weeks for me.

I hope we both hear from them soon.

Typically you don't hear anything after biometrics until your background check is completed, at which point you are placed "in line for interview", at which point it'll update on the website. I am not using the "new site" though, so not sure as to that.

05/05 - Entered US
10/3 - Mailed I-485 and I-765
10/14 - NOA1 for AOS and I-765.
10/22 - I-485 Biometrics NOA received, appt 11/15
10/27 - Touched on both I-485 and I-765.
10/31 - I-765 Biometrics NOA dated 10/24. Appt on 11/29 at 12PM.
11/15 - Biometrics for I-485 and I-765 done on same day.
11/16 & 27 - Case "touched" on bcis.gov.
12/7 - EAD approval by e-mail. Card is on its way. Thank you Lord!!
12/12 - Received EAD.
1/9/06 - Applied for SSN. Received 1/17
3/30 - Got our AOS Interview notice!! Interview date 5/31
5/31/06 - Permanent residency granted! Passport stamped IR6. God is so faithful!

2/2/16 - Mailed in N-400 paperwork

2/10/16 - Received text that N-400 paperwork was received.

2/16/16 - Text that fingerprint appointment has been scheduled.

3/1/16 - Biometrics interview, Naperville, IL

3/11/16 - E-notice that case is in line for an interview

7/8/16 - Text/site updated that Interview date has been assigned

7/14/16 - Received letter dated 7/11 with interview date on 8/11
8/11/16 - Interview, given paper that said passed test but no decision can be made at this time.

10/18/16 - Received text, status online updated to say oath ceremony has been scheduled!!!!
