Happy Wednesday to all!!!!

When the USCIS has gotten to your case will they make notation on your case when they've started going over the paperwork, or would they wait until they've approved/ requested for more information? According to VJ there could be changing on my account as early as the 19th ( I know this isn't always true, so please don't bash me for saying this.. thanks)...... Just would like to know when they've touched our case. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

You will not be notified when the adjudicator picks up your file to go over your case. It does not take long once they open your file. You will be notified of an RFE, approval or denial.

okay, thank you.... I am a little nervous I do believe I will get a RFE because I didn't send a copy of all pages in my passport also the letter of intent to marry from my fiancé wasn't signed by him it was in a email because the original one got messed up while travelling back here. Everything else was done correctly.

Did you not send any other proof of being a USC? And letter of intent does not need to be an original signature, but does need to signed.

No just the first page that says I was born here, and a copy of my drivers license. So I will for sure get one for the letter of intent. I will have him get it together now and send it to me,

If using the US passport as proof of being a USC, then yes, it needs to be ALL pages. Drivers license does nothing.

A long form birth certificate (being born in the US) would avert the RFE seeking proof of your US citizenship if you had included it. I read some place where someone said the letter can be signed at the interview at the embassy. Not sure if that's a valid statement but it makes sense since it's just a letter of intent to marry and so why not allow the beneficiary sign yhe letter at yhe interview, after all it's same person who wrote the letter. I hope you don't get an RFE.
