Hi!

Maybe someone has had the same experience. I've had a restricted SSN which I received on non-immigrant visa, which bears 'valid only with DHS authorization'. Later my status changed and now I am a LPR. I applied for an SSN card replacement on my DS 230. And the instruction I was issued at the POE says " If you already have an SSN, we will issue you a replacement SSN card'' So my question is if it is going to be the same number? I just want to send my n-400 ASAP and they require to list SSN and I don't want to wait for it. I just need a confirmation if someone already went through SSN card replacement to let me know if they change numbers or not?
