Ask Petitioner to telephone up and ask for the Supervisor, request a call back with a reference number "checking current status as 5mths time as previously posted has expired" ..... you never know, the system may be behind in the updates.

Good luck

Spoke with a rep at USCIS customer service and was told to submit a service request as I am outside processing time with a PD date of July 1, 2016 and transfer to Texas service center on November 17th 2016.

I have also sent a request to my Congresswoman and State Senator.

Not sure what else to do but wait. Arrgh.

Seems like the Texas service center is being a little slower? Maybe I am just paranoid. I have an app that updates similar cases, I don't see any coming from TX.

You should not have any problem visiting. My PD is July 26 and I'm still waiting for a NOA2. Since we applied, I'm staying with him since las august, and going to My country every 2 months to take care of our business for 1 week.

Just have with you every single document that can prove that you have to go back home.

They never asked anything or even mentioned about our I130, but is always good to have everything just in case.

Thank you. I am the petitioner and I have already called twice in two weeks plus calls in December.

When I called two weeks ago the call center agent said that we are in normal processing range and we should be approved in 30 days.  I asked for a Tier 2 agent who called me within an hour. He told me our case was not assigned to an agent but should be assigned to a Nebraska agent in 2-3 weeks, we were within normal processing range and the preliminary background checks were processed but he couldn't tell if they cleared. After assignment we should be approved in 30 days. He suggested I submit an inquiry for status notification if I didn't hear anything in a couple of weeks.

I called today and was told by the call center agent that we are in normal processing range and I should call back in 30 days. I asked to speak to a Tier 2 and scheduled a call back. She called back in 4 hours (they had a wait time of 1086 minutes (roughly 18 hours)) and told me that in 5 days we will be out of normal processing. She submitted a request to the Nebraska Service Center for them to provide me with an update on our case. They have 15 days to reply. I should have something by February 17th.

WOW talk about "who is the customer" ...all I can say is some in August are getting processed. There is no process to this which is communicated to others. Customer service told us they would not call back international, speak only to the petitioner and so on.

What is happening is updates are being given by SMS before email or update on the system, so if you cannot get updated, you are forced to call, it is frustrating to say the least.

I press my thumbs for you (Swiss do not cross fingers for good luck - strange but true) to get updated soon.

PD July 6, 2016. Got an rfe in December. Have any July filers gotten an rfe, replied, and heard back yet (noa2)?

I called them twice this week and they told me the same thing as NicMel16, but no info about whether it's been assigned to an agent yet.
