I am in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro Consulate) and as such have the option to go mail or electronic with my AOS and IV packages. Seems like there are some old posts about mail being faster, but I haven't found many recent posts on the topic. It would seem to be most logical that electronic would be quicker, but does anyone have any recent experience or thoughts? Thanks and sorry if this is a repost, but I couldn't find any newish threads on the topic.

You sent both the AOS package and IV package before you paid your IV fees? Did you have to sign up somewhere or just send it in directly? Just trying to understand how the process works. Thanks, just trying to figure how to do this the quickest.

I sent both AoS and IV after paying AoS. Just follow the directions on NVC Website.

Add the files in the order stated on the AoS cover page. And each page is its own file. For example I864 has 7 pages. So scan and save each page individually. The name of files should be your case number name of beneficiary and then name of document and page number if necessary.

Thanks, currently the instructions say to wait until both fees are paid. I called yesterday and got them to approve my DS-261 by phone and said my IV invoice would show up soon. I think i'll wait till it is paid and send everything together, but will do it electronically. Thanks!
