What if someone finds out my nvc number? :(

Hi everyone! I was just wondering what could happen if someone got a hold of our NVC case number? Can they mess with our petition even if they don't know anything about us? Thank you!

I was excited about getting my case number that I sent the screenshot without covering my nvc case number :( I know it was stupid :( i can't delete the message from both ends cause I sent it through Facebook messenger. Thank you :)

Really what would someone do with that? I'm sure the people that you sent it to are you close friends/family, so I would think you would have nothing to worry about! Sure someone could be evil enough to write a letter to withdrawal it I suppose, but I doubt anyone you FB messaged it to would cause you harm/delay in that way.

I know my friends/family have no clue about the K1 (or any immigration) process, so they wouldn't even know what to do with it!

05.12.16 - Petition received at USCIS

05.16.16 - NOA 1

05.21.16 - Hard copy NOA 1

07.21.16 - NOA 2

07.25.16 - Hard copy of NOA 2

08.05.16 - NVC case number assigned

08.10.16 - Case received at consulate, packet 3 received, DS-160 submitted

08.11.16 - Packet 3 mailed to embassy

08.18.16 - Packet 4 received, visa fee paid, letter from NVC arrived

09.02.16 - Medical

09.22.16 - Interview, received 221(g) :crying:, Case changed to administrative processing for missing documents :protest:

10.03.16 - Mailed off response to 221(g), bye bye passport

10.04.16 - Package containing documents + passport arrived at the Amsterdam consulate

10.17.16 - Approved!!!

10.18.16- Visa in hand! :dancing:

10.21.16 - POE

Just by looking at your timeline I could go to the CEAC website and start typing in numbers to find yours. However, unless you know you and your fiances name and birth date, nothing can be done with the number.

Nope they can't do much of anything with your MNL #.

But you can!!!! :thumbs:;)

Head over to BPI and pay your visa fee, get you profile setup and then schedule your interview, then complete your medical at SLEC .... it is ROCK n ROLL time!!! :)
