LOTTO winner Catherine Munro will celebrate her £3.5million windfall with a donkey ride at Saltcoats.

Mum-of-three Catherine, 50, won a share of the rollover jackpot on Saturday.

But she'd rather go "doon the watter" to a town voted the ugliest in the UK than anywhere else in the world.

She said: "The furthest I've been is London, but I wouldn't mind going to Saltcoats for a ride on the donkeys. I would have to get a passport before I go anywhere abroad.

"I can't drive and neither can any of the family, so I won't be getting a fancy car either. I don't think I'll be learning - I would rather get a chauffeur."

Catherine, who has lived in Cambuslang, near Glasgow, all her life, said she might even move to Saltcoats full-time.
