i tried to talk to my wife but she asked for no thing but the divorce ... only divorce ... as expected i will not be allowed to see my kid any more and the one on the way i will not be able to attend the delivery after 1 month from now ....

she asked me to leave in a few days and no other solution than leaving .. mom in low said that my immigration paper will be stopped and divorce will happen under any condition.

for now life stopped all i said i just don't wanna leave my kids and the reply was " you will not be able to do any thing - go to court do whatever you want - if you didn't leave we will call the police "

i tried but it seems to be complicated more than i thought .

it's done ... my life with my wife is destroyed because i refused to be insulted for only one time ...

Of course you can see your children, go to a lawyer get the divorce and visitation rights we already told you that you are safe to stay here with the 10 year green card there is nothing your mother in law can do about your papers. Stop believing every lie they tell you. Know your rights.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

They can not have your green card revoked or you deported. Get yourself a place to live, the best divorce attorney you can afford and fight for your rights to see and have custody of your kids.

She cannot keep you from your children!! If you file for the divorce, you have control of the divorce proceedings and can demand partial custody of your children.

File for divorce first. This gives you the upper hand. Secondly, move out and rent a room somewhat close by. When they don't have your income to help pay the bills, they may reconsider. What country are you from?

You also want to get all documentation of joint bills, assets etc as you will need them when you remove conditions on your own. You have rights as a 2 year gc holder and as a father. Pm me if you want to talk

the problem is that we dont have any joint bills as we are living in her family home

we filed for taxes together but i dont know any thing about it as i am new to the country

we have joint bank account but i dont know how to get these information

we also have medical insurance jointly but i dont know how to get it's information

she was handling every thing coz i did not know about any of these stuff

i have almost 5000 pictures and my kids birth certificate and marriage certificate and a few documents - all proves are found but i don't know how to get it ..

Joint bank accounts evidence you get from the bank.

Joint medical insurance evidence from her employer.

If you need a lawyer to help you with that then get one.

So it's a new story now ... During the past days every thing was great and we were back .. But againg fights started between me and mom in law and she kicked me out of home for 3 nights .. My dad in law helped me to go by afriend of him for 2 nights and the third was by the street ...

Yes i was sleeping by the street homeless.. No money and nothing

My wife was worried about me and she called me too many times and the next day i went back and they asked me to apologize as usual and i did ... I didn't think about anything except my kid and the next one coming.

Thanks god that i was able to attend the delivery and we had a fight before this ... She was threatening me not to attend the surgery.

Any way .. The next day i was home and i was taking food to my wife to the hospital and when i came back she started a fight with humiliation to me and my mom and my sisters and she said that she wouls call them and humilate them too .. I told my mum in law that i am going to call her family too because i am tired of this way .. Suddenly she called my wife at the hospital telling her i don't need this person at home... My wife asked her to leave me till the next day but i was the one who refused to stay ... She said don't come back and cry asking for coming back again .

I spent one more day by the street and i rented a room and moved away .. The next day i went to the hospital to see my kid the kicked me out and threatened me of calling the police on me . I left and her dad called me telling me not to go back to the hospital again as he will call the police and my wife agreed .

2days later my wife asked me to go back and apologize again but i refused ... Me and her are broken.. Our life is collapsing and she want me back but on her mums rules again .. And i am refusing such a way of treatment.

My wife keeps telling me that i am selfish and i should accept this way for her ... And for our kids ... She keeps telling me that i am the reason for not being calm with all of this humiliation.

I don't know what to do. I left and i am not able to see my 3days kid . I have all of my documents with me . And i had a new job and accepted the fact that i will proceed with my life .. But i am living a dumb life without my wife and kids...

Am i right ??!

Was that a good decision to take in such a condition??!

Am I selfish??!

No, you are not selfish and you have put up with more than enough.

Live your life, work and earn money to be fully able to provide for you and the kids.

It is her choice to move in with you or stay with her mother. Stay at your apartment.

Get a lawyer to sort out child custody and child support payments. That is a must !

You will have either joint custody of the kids or visitation rights. Lots of people arrange this with a lawyer and

you can too. Life goes on and in time you will make it just fine and hope you find someone who truly loves

and respects you but put your food down and do not go back to your crazy wife and in laws.
