Update: I called today and was informed that my file was received and for me to call back by the 29th to get a case number.

Is this good news or not, I take it as it is...I wonder if this is the norm not to give out case number when they already received it?

I want to add again, that I was told by that person a notice will not be mailed out to my address. It will be sent directly to the Embassy... The opposite of everything written on the NOA2 notice.

I'm following i-129f cases on the USCIS case tracker app that have a NOA1 date from December of 2015, and there are about 20 of them that still haven't got their NOA2 or RFE. So we're kinda lucky to even have been approved in the first place.

Yes you are right, we are lucky specially now that I am sure petitions are being scrutinized more carefully.

Thank you pch!!! Much Appreciate it,

well, that's what i have received from the USCIS on Monday.

Thank you for your inquiry. Your case is currently being prepared for transfer to the NVC. Please allow 30 days for the case to arrive at the NVC and be input into their systems. You should receive a notice from the NVC once they have received your case file. Thank you.

I don't if they will send it anytime soon since they gave me no time frame.

i was approved May 27/2016.
