I just got a letter in the mail today from USCIS California Service Center (CSC) in regards to my inquiry from last week. The letter basically says the following:

"Your case is within a batch of cases that is currently being prepared for shipment to NVC."

At least this gives me peace of mind that the case has not been lost or sent to the wrong entity. Wanted to share this with everyone else here waiting for NVC and hoping everyone get to NVC soon.

USCIS was shopping around for discounted shipping rate this why the delays of a batch of cases...hahahah. At least that is a good news

Achraf I'm hopeful we are in that batch too! Our approval dates are all pretty close and we haven't been sent out to NVC yet! I'm aiming for the next week or two - but don't want to speak too soon LOL

Hello guys,

i spoke to an immigration lawyer today regarding the e-mail i have received stating that,

Your petition is in the process of transferring to NVC,

he said that no longer at USCIS and is either in transit to NVC or at the NVC and being entered into their database according to him.

i don't know if this is an accurate answer from an experience lawyer which has been doing this for 14 years!!!

He's probably right I'm sure he has seen these kind of questions and emails before!

I'm thinking its in transit :) finally! Maybe you and your fiancé can come back to the states together if it finally gets to NVC and your embassy gives you a fast interview date

Farzram you mentioned before that you have received an e-mail just like the e-mail i received right?

is this exactly what you received? the same exact e-mail? here

Thank you for your inquiry. On July 21, 2016, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-129F to notify us that you believe your case is over normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

What We Have Done

This case was approved and notification was mailed to the address of record on May 27, 2016.

Once an initial petition has been approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, it is forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC), which is an entity of the State Department. Your petition is in the process of transferring to NVC. The State Department controls visa issuance. Once with the State Department, USCIS no longer has jurisdiction or access to the petition.

For questions regarding your petition, it is recommended that you contact the State Department regarding your concerns. You can contact the National Visa Center for more information.

well, than my case haven't been sent yet.

they respond back to you today,

your inquiry from the NVCRESEARCH WAS LONG AGO PERHAPS more than 3 weeks ago right? if so it means nothing and this e-mail is old and the e-mail you received which the same e-mail i received indicate that our cases has been transferred, i think that our cases are en route to the nvc.

soon you will find out that i was correct lol, just ignore the e-mail you received today. its replay from an old inquiry which took place while back.

I emailed NVC last week after my 6 weeks was up. I emailed them 2 days after my 6 weeks was up (I think Friday) and they responded to me today. So it's a new email.

And the USCIS email we both got is from July 15th because I put in an inquiry July 12th.

I'm hoping your right and it's en route to NVC I feel hopeful it is. The guy from NVC told me to continue calling NVC if that's the email I got from USCIS (he was really nice) he said it's a POSSIBILITY it can show up any day now.

My NVC email that I sent last week with the noa2 attached as they told me to do was responded to and it said:

The National Visa Center received your inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately we do not have a record of receiving your approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

NVC will work with USCIS to determine the location of your petition. We will let you know when we have more information. You do not need to take any action at this time. Thank you for your patience as we work with USCIS to ensure your case is moving forward.

My USCIS email that was sent to me July 15th due to an inquiry I had put through online for service request July 12th said:

Thank you for your inquiry. On July 12, 2016, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-129F to notify us. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

I read on a post that someone that someone was approved may 19 and after her 6 weeks was up she got in contact finally with a nice USCIS officer and they sent it out June 29th- a day before her 6 weeks was up and then it was received July 7th I believe by NVC.

Perhaps that's the case with us too.

My senators office also told me they inquired by the case and asked them to take immediate action to find the case and have the process moving. They said they would contact me when they get a response.

Think I'm going to call NVC and try my luck today but don't know what time to call. I'm guessing more towards afternoon ?

Farzram, I usually call after 5:00 PM EST. That way they are done for the day and give them an opportunity to update all the cases they are working on for the day. I don't know if they keep track of how many times people call, but I believe I read somewhere some people has been told not to call so often and to wait! That has not been my case but I'm not calling every day either, I call 2-3 times a week. I just don't want them memorizing my case number by heart lol
