I submitted my I-130 petition for my spouse on the 1st of March 2016. At the time my passport was due to expire in June 2016. I received an RFE on the 7 th of July asking be to send in an unexpired passport. However when I submitted my application it was not expired. Why would USCIS send me an RFE for that?

Did you get a reply from rfe approval and stuff and after how long ?
