Can my girlfriend come back to visit me on her B1/B2 visa? We were just friends on her first visit.

She came to visit me (as friends, as documented in her B1/B2 application and letter) for 3 months on a B1/B2 visa. During those 3 months we developed feelings for each other and started a relationship. She was questioned at the airport but in the end they let her stay for the 3 months we had requested during the initial B1/B2 visa interview. She returned home on time of course and now we are planning on her coming out here again in another 3 months, for another 3 months. I'm not sure it will be so easy this time as she now has to call me her boyfriend. Are we going to run into any trouble with that? We eventually plan to go through the K1 Visa process but wanted to spend some more time together before doing so. Would a letter to the officers at the airport help? Maybe we could explain that we plan to exercise all proper methods or would that just hurt the situation?

What job does she do that allows her so much leave? If she is going to spend 6 months or more in a 12-month period in the USA she will become of interest to the IRS. Also, she risks not being able to stay 3 months next time because to all intents and purposes she is using the B2 to live in the USA in 3-monthly installments. And that's not what it's for.

Might be easier for you to visit her next time.
