My approval is June 9th, however in my approval letter it says it was sent to the consulate in Santo Domingo and to contact them with any question or to file i824 application for action on a approved petition, I'm confuse as to where my petition was sent since I thought it had to be sent to Nvc than consulate, when I contact USCIS they just don't give me any answer as to whether they sent it to Nvc or consulate. Any advice or have anyone run into this?

My approval notice says the same. But I believe I read somewhere that every petition always has to go through NVC, there is no other way to get a case number for the embassy. They probably don't mention the NVC step on the notice since it's not important if you just waited for the letter from the consulate.

I hope so it just that my cousin file and his approval says it was sent to Nvc so complete different than mine which worries me.
