I believed him and still do when he said he wants to make a life with me. But his family and friends were against it from the day he told them he was going to marry me. They told him he should ask for money. But we wanted a real marriage life together. We already decided on which night would be date night, pizza night, family night etc. I have hope that he will return because even though our time together was short it was compact. I don't think it's anything to do with romance since we haven't actually done the deed yet because of mother nature, however, the sexual attraction is intense between us. It hurts to think that he may have already started the divorce proceedings because I am anticipating building our lives together.

I will return home.

Your wanting him to return to file papers, pizza night and build a life together, do you love him? or the thought of filing papers and having a legal status here after I-94 expires?

How long did you know each other before marriage? How did you meet?

Sorry that sounds harsh, but I believe you need a reality check.

I agree with you on them assuming that things are cheap and easy when it isn't.... Many think that Americas are rich and have everything we want, not realizing we work harder than most to keep what we want and need.. When they come they get the reality check, and soon see what we've been telling them.

I told my fiancé last night how much eggs and milk cost. ??? I thought he and his sister were going to die. They pay $15 s month for milk I said we pay that in a week lol. I know the pay is different but still it's just the point that it is not easy and life is NOT easy in the us. I feel for immigrants who come over with nothing and start from scratch. It is hard but make learn fast and make something of themselves. I had one man tell me the streets really had gold in them. I wanted to die laughing but I could tell he was serious.

Yes my fiancé is the same way I told him how much my rest is for the month... he thought it was for the year... But they're told that America is the land of the rich so they don't know any better.

This relationship wouldn't meet th standards of the US government either. What is she going to say I came here to visit and it was love at first sight? We planned pizza night and hVe the most amazing relationship ever? How do we even know if he left her? Maybe she is looking for ways to divorce him and get her papers....maybe this guy was a huge a hole and messed with her mind. However it doesn't matter what happens or how wonderful this relationship is he let her and she has no way of getting any papers unless he comes back. Plain and simple. I know from my past horrible mistake marrying someone before you know them cause be a real big problem. People are messed up in the head and not everyone marries USC for the right reason and many times USC end up not being happy with the person in real life. Skype relationships are great you don't have to put up with people in person. You don't really know someone and all their annoying habits until you live with them. You don't know if someone is a nutcase unless you are around them. So don't make it sound like men and women don't commit fraud to get here many do I know.

I am not here to argue with you or anyone for that matter I am not apart of her relationship so I cannot pass judgement I can only give an opinion on it. No one said people don't commit fraud of course they do if they did not there would be no need to go through all the legal requirements and expenses required of couples by the US Government to obtain a legal status so please do not put words in my mouth

And just so you know many people marry on tourist visa and adjust just fine, even if they have not known each other that long (she only states we just met now that could mean days or weeks or even a month or two) they just need to prove their marriage is a real one and not just for papers.

Now I clearly stated if the marriage is fraud then she is the only one that has lost in that case and I also said she has no legal option to stay at this point so to leave and if she wants to work on the relationship then to do so by getting to know each other

So please just chill and stop getting excited it's really not needed it's okay to state an opinion without being judgmental or mean.

Have a nice day :)

Let's treat each other the way we want to be treated... We have no grounds to say she was try to commit fraud, so stop assuming... Just because she didn't word it the way you like, doesn't mean she was just here for a visa. Remember people talk differently that doesn't change how anyone's heart is..... We aren't in her heart or mind so we can't say what she's trying to do or not to do.... God knows all, so please stop bashing her for what you assume is the case...

Let encourage each other, not bring each other down with harsh words, it's now what you say it's how you say it....

Everyone have a great day :luv:

Before he left he signed the 130, 465 and 864 forms.

I-485 is not signed by him; only by you. Only I-130 and I-864 are signed by him. When you say "signed", do you mean filed? Or did he just sign I-130 and I-864 and leave the papers and copies of accompanying documents with you?

Didnt have sex as she was on her period.

Jeez dude, come on..

First of all I am not a dude.

This marriage was not even consummated if that is what she means, heck she could mean some other mother nature thing,

periods don't last 2 weeks.

She was married 2 weeks ago. How long before marriage did they know each other is the question that goes unanswered.

Since the marriage was not consummated and lasted only 2 weeks it could likely be annulled.

Not having sex before marriage may be the case that it wasn't consummated and all the paper talk and paying money ,,,,,,

perhaps that is how it started out but something is missing from the story.

Spoiler

Wow, this topic is on fire like the Pokemon Go.

Anyway to the OP: Right now it's better for you to leave the US not to accrue the overstays. If you think you two were soulmates even with such a short meetup, may be you can try contacting him once you are in your country. If he really abandoned you, just move on.

Umm? I 'married with the understanding that I needed to file papers quickly' because I want my husband to be able to work ASAP with his EAD.

Being on top of things doesnt mean someone is frauding the government. Try again. Or don't. Please actually just don't.

I am sure all have done the same once they've gotten here... I guess we will all be trying to scam our government..... Yes that make sense... We are all frauds...
