Enter on B2 Visa, register on dating site

If a person enters the USA on a B2 Visa for legitimate tourism reasons but then registers on a US based dating site, would that be considered having immigration intent?

If that person met someone on that site and then followed the normal K-1. CR-1 process, would it be considered immigration fraud.

If that person met someone and adjusted, would it be considered immigration fraud?

OK, she registered on OK Cupid and got 900 likes in 3 days - insane. Not my girl, but another friend. She came here to compete in an event - which she won.

And thank you so much for all that you do here.

I was worried there for a minute. (I am rooting for you guys). But oh my what kind of friends are these?!

Anyway if a girl enters on a B2 and then starts dating well I personally think thats a bit of a stretch to call 'immigration intent' to begin with and even if it is--so what?

Youre getting into that area of can an AOS be denied on intent alone and the answer is no. There are tons of topics on VJ about it. Heres the first result that comes up-http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/475741-preconceived-intent-to-marry-and-adjust-status/

Lol. Im not sure how much of a friend she really is to you now.. <_<

I mean if someone wanted to make trouble for the girl they certainly can. If she came to compete in an event then thats fine on a B2 (providing she told them). If she didnt then someone could report/accuse her of obtaining the B visa fraudulently. This would need documented proof like entering the event before the visa interview, not disclosing it at the interview and then participating in said event. You dont know what was said or asked in the interview and you may not be able to get proof of the date of entering. But lets say you did. Lots of things could happen at that point from revoking the visa to bans and trouble with AOS.

Even if the proof sent in was not enough it would get added to her record and if/when she tries to AOS it would impact it. Again highly debated pre concieved intent but the bottom line is if they want they can deny the AOS for other reasons but its really because of the circumstantial evidence like the negative letter about the use of the B2 and dating site use and whatnot.

If she goes the CR route or K1 then its not going to be an issue of intent but rather if the relationship is legit. There would be the issue of her honesty the last time she was at the Embassy and her use of the visa once there.

I dont know. Which side are you on? Are you trying to help this girl or harm her?

The event is legit - that is how she got the visa. Free entry after winning a similar event in Europe. I'm helping her, but I do not want to help her to get into trouble. And of course, winning this most recent event comes with free entry to another event in the USA! And she is competing again next week before going home.

The relationship will be legit as well. She is intently focused on finding a good father for her unborn children. The clock is ticking for her.

And CIS examined the event registration when she entered. Now i understand why!!!

This is why I wish the immigration watched these websites for all the bad people trying to find anyway to get in USA those are the ones that make it hard for the good ones that are actually in love. Did you see where he said her reproducing would benefit America or something among those lines ?? It's very sad when you see stuff like this online. Why did she only make a okcupid in USA ?? Why was she talking about finding refugees as way to get a green card ?? I feel sorry for the man that actually falls for it

I did not hear the OP state that she is pregnant. My interpretation of his statement is that her biological clock is ticking, like most Slavic women she wants to have children and have a family, and his reference to a good addition to the gene pool is that she has brains, athletic, and probably a beauty.
