Hello visa journey family

I do have a question which i know, this is the right place i can have answer because of others experience,

So my question is i did filled for my adjustment of status and the uscis did received it 10/09/2015 Febuary this year i did received my EAD and i had my 2nd my second biometric in april 9 and till now i havent heard anything from them anymore!

Does anyone have an idea what's going on or the reason why?

Please any ideas or advice are wellcome

You can make service request online or call them.When you call ask for a tier2 officer.

So i did called the uscis office and asked to speak to a tier2 officer and after couple of hours waiting, then i finally got an officer on the phone and the only thing the officer tcan tell me is my application is out of process, so they are not working on my on my application anymore. And i asked her why, she dont have no answer for me, because after they did received my 2nd biometric then they stopped working on my process and put my file away, do i have any criminal records no, so why then? Sorry sir i dont know i can only submit request enquirers for you.......waooooooow so is this normal or what folks does anybody have this experience

I have been to the USA several times, before i finally moved, i never overstayed or anything the longest i stayed was 7days, i never had criminal records in europe and I submitted police report from every country in europe where i lived before

So i don't understand why and whats wrong

Or is it because we filled the application our self without attorney?

Even tier 2 sometimes does not know what is going on with your petition. Did you go ahead and make that service request ?
Did you contact your senator / congressman to intervene on your behalf ? Ombudsman ?

Yes my wife has mailed the saniter for almost 3weeks now and we havent heard nothing too from them

So i dont know if we do need to get a lawyer or what

After my wife mailed the senators office they responded and send her forms for me to filled and sign before they can go ahead so i did same day and fax it to them and till now nothing so i guess if senators office cant work maybe we can try a lawyer

A lawyer is useless and can do nothing. Total waste of time and money.

Have your wife call the senator's office and ask to speak to the immigration aid.
Yes, everyone has to fill out a privacy release form. She can call the person handling it as many times as she wants to and doesn't

have to wait 3 weeks for an answer. There are 2 senators in each state that she can contact and each senator has different

aids in different offices, congressman is available in her district too. She can pick one who is responsive.
They can NOT speed up the process but give you a status update which will be either 'still in AP' or 'AP completed.'

The embassy has to respond to a senator's inquiry within 30 days.

My husband got a loan for a car with a good rate without a green card, just keep trying and build your credit up.

He filed in May 2015 and was told his case is in background checks, it's been over a year waiting for the green card.

Well i already have a credit cards with very high amount and even using some to pay for my tuition to study because i was denied for the students loan, because i didint have a green card, then after i applied for car loan and also we applied for a loan to buy a house but all were denied because they said without green card i cant have a loan, so i dont know but which company did your husband applied from? Maybe i can try it too, thanks for all the infor i really appreciate it, and i keep my fingers crossed for you and your husband too

Read on how to build and maintain good credit.
Pay on time, pay more than the minimum on credit cards and keep the utilization rate under 20% (super important).
That is the key to low rates and increased credit lines later.
My husband has done this in the past year and got a decent auto loan rate for a very nice SUV.

Cut back on classes for a little while until you have your CC paid down as you said the balance is high and that can

hinder a future loan. Then try for the loan and when you get your GC then continue on with your education.
We can't have everything at once but sometimes must take life in one step after the other or it gets too overwhelming.
So first fix your credit and get a decent credit history with a good score.

Well i will try as much as i can to keep my score strong

My credit score used to be 780 but when i paid my tuition then it drop down and now i have 610 so i need to make sure to keep it strong and growing

Hubby's score was in the lower 700 after about 9 months and he got the auto loan, of course other things matter too like length

of credit history etc.
