Hi everyone,

okay, so I just called the NVC after 6 weeks of waiting for the case number and they had finally received my case (two days ago actually) and provided me with that. I checked online at my case, which stated it was still at the NVC, I checked back two hours later and it's in transit to the embassy (In Paris), I tried paying the remaining fees online which I was unable to do so because it states I have to pay everything remaining at the interview in person, I called the NVC to clarify this and it is so. So now, what are the steps I need to take? I have of course looked into the necessary next steps but from what I've read it's unclear. How long am I looking to wait for the application to reach the embassy and what exactly do I need to do while I wait for it and so on? Also, I'm the petitioner and I reside in the U.S., whereas my fiancé lives in France. (The beneficiary) if it makes any difference.

Thanks.

I tried that link and it doesn't necessarily tell me anything? It's just stating how to apply for a nonimmigrant visa.

I suggest you go over to the Paris France sub-forum where there are many there that can help you. Most have gone through and can share information with you.
