I am so very happy to hear of ur reaffirmation. I am blown away by all the bogus accusations/requests from USCIS as their reasons for denial. I would love to hear of other people's bogus reasons for denials.

So far: 1. Pictures of famous peoples tattoos.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

RFE : June 12, 2015 for income not meeting guideline. Income does ( ! ) exceed guideline.

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

It's crazy how they are allowed to say/accuse us of such crazy things and there's nothing we can do about. I realize they have to be cautious but the wait time is ludicrous. Does anyone know the average wait time for it being all said and done - from start at the very beginning to actually traveling and it's all done?

About 18 months for Ghana's returned petitions from interview to re affirmed to visa issued.

I can finally give the happiest update! we got reaffirmed letter yesterday dated 26th of august cant believe we are almost at the end! so does anybody have idea how long it usualy takes for returned petition to get back to embassy? any experiences? thank you!

Congratulation on your reaffirmed :dancing: Is your case with NVC have they gave you an interview date yet?

thank you!:-) not yet, uscis reapproved it on 26th of august but sent it on 7th of september, so maybe today or tomorrow nvc will receive it and forward it to embassy :-)

Did anyone have trouble with USCIS finding your case after it was returned by the embassy?

My case was returned by NVC on June 30th and USCIS still doesn't have it.

It can take many months before you will hear from USCIS with a NOID/NOIR letter to which you have to respond.

The entire return process can take 12-18 months, if it is less count yourself lucky.

I would not look for anything until at least December or early next year.

we were pretty lucky till this point, our case get to uscis month after embassy denied it, then 2 months to get Noir and now after 3 months of our response was reaffirmed on 26th of september and sent to NVC on 7th of september, anybody has idea how long till nvc receives it?

Yes, I understand that. But I was told by some others that when USCIS receives the case from NVC after it's returned by the embassy, USCIS will send out a notification (text or email) that the case is received.

Is that true?

Because USCIS still says they don't have my case when NVC sent it out on June 30
