I didn't ask the lady I spoke with to do a service request. I explained I was just calling for the status of my noir response but she insisted to do a service request. Which is ok by me but that's waiting another 15 days for a response. I'm hoping we r not far behind u in terms of an answer.

NVC sent my case back to USCIS on june 30th.

USCIS still hasn't acknowledged receiving it

How long does that normally take?

I called USCIS already and nothing...

Ours took a couple months between nvc to uscis, i was told it has to be entered into thier system, hurry up and wait

April 3rd to june,10th to be exact

How long did it take for them to send you NOIR after acknowledging receipt?

Two weeks shy of a year, i was told by uscis it could take a yr to review, not 180 days as told originally

Two tier called me back from uscis just now, he said our file on an officers desk being looked at now, we should know in few days to a week he said, been there since a few days ago, pray pray pray we reaffirmed

Greetings to all friends on here... Does reaffirmed case on CEAC case status checker state's (Administrative processing or Ready)? Our says administrative processing... Anybody here with this experience at the Ghana embassy....

So 60 days has passed as of Saturday for an answer to our noir and we are told still pending. I wrote the president again and the ombudsman - still nothing from either of them. Idk if the ombudsman will even take on our case or not. Senators office just said we are still pending and they'll follow up in 30. USCIS filed a service request so we wait 15 days for that. All in all discouraging.

I can finally give the happiest update! we got reaffirmed letter yesterday dated 26th of august cant believe we are almost at the end! so does anybody have idea how long it usualy takes for returned petition to get back to embassy? any experiences? thank you!

hello yes, we got NOIR after 2 months since uscis received our case back so that was pretty fast in comparison to marriage based visa I guess there is not a lot of consular returns in our category, we replied on 23 rd of may 2016 and got reaffirmal on 26th of august so basically 93 days. Consular wrote mostly speculated points in our noir like - provide letters from famous people that were tattooed by petitioner along with pictures of a tattoos- like really? how are we supposed to contact these famous people who were tattooed by my husband like 3 years ago and even if we would contact them I doubt that they would want to deal with writing letters and sending pictures of their tattoos lol- so from 6 points from noir 5 were totally not unimportant to our case, just 1 point was about real eb1 qualifications and I guess thats why uscis reaffirmed "quite quickly" some people here that I read took almost a year to hear back, so hopefully you will got it fast too!
