CSC Email Response

Hello everybody,

I sent an email to CSC yesterday and this was the response recieved today. Does anybody know if this is good or bad?

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or

notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this correspondence.

Looks like the standard 'don't call us we'll call you' response from what ive seen on other posts Tom 60 days from the date of the email tho - jeez..thats harsh - I hope they do it during the WITHIN part...

I am really hoping it is this end of the 60 days and not after. 60 days takes us well past the original estimation of 120 days.

I am really hoping that it comes through soon, it seems like forever!

Do you know if the embassy in London is backlogged at the moment?

The only thing that you can do for now is complain and join us at the CSC/TSC list

Jeezuz CSC is slow. It looks like according to the timelines that yours *should* be done by Feb 15th. That 60 day email is a form email and is basically meaningless. I wouldn't use that for setting dates or let it get you down.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I don't tend to use USCIS timescale predictions too much, but it often feels like the only thing you can vaguely plan around. Hopefully, they may have started to at least look at our case rather than leave it in a big pile somewhere!

I will difinately come and contribute more to the CSC/TSC list.

I know that sinking feeling. I just got the same exact e-mail response from the CSC yesterday. My 1NOA is 2 days after yours at Nov1. My immigration lawyer friend explains this is an administrative review which is not good. I personally think it's just a commom term for your case is on a desk being looked at for the e-mail includes nothing about an administrative review just review. I think were ok

It *was* backlogged Tom, pax and ewen had the skinny on that in the London interviews thread - I doubt they've caught up a whole lot but its possible..

I agree Manizales,

I think I have seen other administrative review emails posted somewhere else on this site and they were different (i.e. being more specific about administratove review).

Hopefully it is nothing to worry about!
