Hi!

I just wanted to know the time range of docs from NVC to Consulate (Philippines- Manila US embassy)? I got the nvc and invoice #, booked the interview.i am still waiting for packet 3 & 4 to come since the letter is a requirement in st. Lukes and interview.

Should I call the NVC to ask them if they mailed it already?

Thank you!

Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? If you are the beneficiary then you will more than likely never ever get that letter, usually the petitioner gets it and he/she can send it to you.

I am the petitioner but asking in behalf of my beneficiary because we had already set an interview appointment and we need the paper works before he goes for a medical examination. I do all the research and trying to check the time frame.

If you called the embassy and they gave you an appointment then they should have also gave you an email with confirmation. Print that and bring it to the medical and interview. Also sign up for medical on line and St. Luke will email you a confirmation. Bring that. Still get all your other NVC things done quickly, Pay fees, AOS, documents and Visa application on-line. It takes a little while do, wait do wait do wait. lol

NO packets!! Everything is online for USEM.

If you have your MNL# it is ROCK n ROLL time!!

Get the visa fee paid at BPI, schedule the interview, complete the medical ...

Follow the flashing arrow below for details!

If you are on a phone here is the link to the process for USEM http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/3-usem-k-1-visa

It takes a couple weeks on average for the case file to reach USEM after you get your MNL # from USEM. (you can forget any invoice #) Don't worry about you case file, schedule the interview 4-5 weeks out from when you got your MNL # and all should be just fine.

Lastly, jump over to the Philippines forum for your questions on the process at USEM http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

What you need for the medical is EITHER copies of the letter from NVC with your case # on it OR your copies of the interview confirmation page/email. http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3218.html

http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/4-slec-medical

Make sure to complete your DS-160 also as SLEC will want copies of the confirmation page from that on the 2nd day.

We just finished a lot of this. Interview with the USEM was yesterday.

The NVC letter took around 1.5 weeks to arrive at my house in California. My fiance never received anything.

As for our file, it took one week from the date I was able to get the receipt number to get to the embassy. This could be rare though.

We were asked for the NVC letter from St Luke's AND during the interview. We didn't have it for the medical and they accepted a screenshot from the CEAC website showing that the NVC received the case.

Once I received the letter from the NVC, I faxed a copy to my fiance. She was asked for it during the interview process. I'm not sure if it was required, but she had it since I sent her a copy, so it wasn't a big deal.
