My husband has his appointment in juarez on Monday. We noticed that the lawyer put that we got married on June 8 but we got the license June 8th but said our vows on the 9th. So technically we got married on the 9th. I'm afraid they are going to deny his visa for that one error

If Tennessee is like Texas then the marriage license is the marriage cert. If the person who married you signed it on the 9th, then that's your marriage date. If it comes up in the interview, just say that the lawyer wrote the wrong date.

The lawyer told him to say we got The license on the 8th but Saud our vows on the 9th. Is that what he should say or should he just tell them the attorney got it wrong and we got married on the 9th. I am afraid this is going to Delay his visa. He has been with me in the USA the past 9 years and was only planing to be gone 15 days

I601A?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

The error was made on the I-30 the I-601A and the DS-260. The DS-260 is what they will be looking at when he goes to his Appointment tomorrow. I didn't catch it untill now. I spoke with my attorney and she said it's always been that date we can't change it.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. He could explain the error at his appointment. My husbands name is luis and my dumb lawyer put juan. And it said Juan until before his appointment but i did call USCIS and let them know it was incorrect. If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure you can edit your ds260 I would check I could be wrong but it's worth the try.

I told him to just tell them the 8th like it says on the Application. If they ask to see the marriage certificate he can just tell them he didn't know. Because he really didn't. Hope they can change it if they want it to say the 9th. Can't wait for him to call me and tell me the outcome. I'm ready for him to be home! This has been the most stressful 6 days of my life! Our kids keep asking where is daddy and when he's coming home :(
