I just kinda wondering would it be possible to have a skypee interview? My NOA2 has just approved on 6th of July and I think I might have a interview at Stockholm embassy in 2 to 3 months from now on. I am currently residing in Norway as a student and my current visa expires on 31st of August, 2016. I have already applied for extension here in Norway so i cant relocate to other countries untill my extension get approved. The question is what if I get a interview date after 31st of August, 2016 and my norwegian visa is still in process? How am I going to attend? Any suggestion or idea would be appreciatable.

You have to attend in person. They will take your fingerprints and you will swear an oath, but besides those practicalities, the point of the interview is for them to assess you in person.

For K1, you book your own interview date, so you'll just have to schedule it after you are allowed to travel again.

Also, remember that there is no passport check on the Norway/Sweden border (and that's good since you have to surrender your passport at the consulate). However, you need to be a legal resident in Scandinavia to attend the interview there, so I guess you'll have to wait for the extension anyway.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Why not complete the visa application in Sweden instead of Norway? Just have the case file transferred there (eventually)
