Hey..I'm in a unpredictable case...moving forward got green card in 2012..removed conditions in 2014..rfe was required because i filed a divorce waiver due to dishonesty on the part of my ex husband.robbing me of my inheritance.Anyway I did meet the deadline of the RFE but without the divorce decree. .so after 3 months of waiting for a response I got a denial.still didn't have divorce decree. .so two months later I got the decree and my lawyer refile with all my documents including the decree in Aug 2015 got my extension letter couple weeks later..did biometric also..still waiting it's almost a year..can anyone advise or give me to help calm down my nerves.will be grateful appreciated

The fact that you got the extension letter means they accepted the late filing. Now it's a waiting game. VSC is really slow. I'd wait another couple of weeks then go for an Infopass.

infopass has nothing to do with interview

infopass is when you go to get I551 stamp on your passport, but the interview, they sent you a notice and most of the time you receive RFE before the interview.

i know this process is sooo stresful, but just relax you're not the only one there are a lot of people are on the same boat.

All you can do is wait, it takes time. Worrying isn't going to help, just be patient and have faith

12/12/12, Successful Walk-in biometrics @ Varick Street Manhattan ASC.
12/18/12, Online case status available (I130-initial review; I1765-initial review; I485-testing and interview)
01/14/13, Notice of EAD approval via text & email.
01/22/13, EAD received.
03/24/13, Online status notification for interview April 30th.
04/30/13, Interview @ Federal plaza, NYC. No decision, pending background check
