Medical expedites are reserved for life-or-death situations.

Yours does not fall into that category, and so your expedite will be refused.

No one really knows exactly what your chances are but you wouldnt know the answer until you do it. There is no harm in trying. Good if they approve it and bad if not, but then again at least you tried. Goodluck.

There is a harm in filing a frivolous expedite request. That takes resources away from examining cases that warrants an expedite.

Image someone who really needs an expedite having to wait while the examiner is looking at a bunch of frivolous expedite requests. There is a harm to that people who really need it.

Having HPV, EBV, and other viruses that MAY cause cancer is normal for the majority of people on this planet. In most people, they do not develop into cancer at any point in their lives.

What resources? The US Embassy decides on the request not USCIS or NVC. When you email USCIS or NVC, they will forward it to the Consular office or embassy to decide on it. And we dont know the exact guidelines on how they decide on Expedite request even if there is a policy or requirements set by USCIS.

I had two expedite requests (for my 2 sons) approved so Im talking from experience.

Do you really think having HPV or EBV is justification for an expedite? If it is, then everyone is going to get an expedite because the majority of humans are already infected with HPV or EBV.

So no resources are wasted by when USCIS or the NVC has to forward the request? No resources wasted when the US Embassy has to deal with frivolous requests? So people taking time out of their workday to deal with frivolous requests doesn't waste their time?

How would your day be wasted if people made you deal with a bunch of frivolous requests?

You made my point and I just gave my suggestion with the thought of helping out. Its up to the poster whether to take yours or mine.

Whether its justifiable or not, is I dont know. It is up to whoever decides on the request should he/she decides to push with it. Neither of us know what request can be considered frivolous and not is. Besides, I dont think everything is always following policies or being too technical. Sometimes, compassion is being considered, i think.

This is the last time I will deal with you. Bye!
