If you were going through cancer treatment, then you might have a hardship warranting an expedite.

Having a virus that can cause cancer is not enough for an expedite. Lots of people have viruses that can cause cancer. Lots of people with HPV have a virus that can cause cancer, but in the vast majority of infected people it does not cause cancer; it only causes cancer in a few. Having a virus that may cause cancer could mean that you never get cancer from it.

You are almost at the end of the NVC process anyway. By the time they receive and review your expedite request, your case will be halfway to the embassy.

I'm not wanting to belittle your concerns, but many people have such virii. And you have been very lucky in your processing time thus far. Your NOA1 was three days before mine and you are almost done with the NVC. I am still waiting for NOA2 and I am disabled.

That said, I understand you are worried and want your husband with you as soon as possible. But you're almost there.
