From what I know too, this is culturally accepted so likely not an issue...

Ps - I flew about 8 times and he came over 6 times in less then a year (similair distance) and similair all hell break lose situation with work hence 4 to 5 day trips. I lost a lot of business in the process and financially meant I had to move to lifestyle of basics - he too lost financially, but It worth it. Life is short, no one is indispensable, not an advise site put aside the visit to wife - bro generally needs to sit back and relax a bit.

I know this migh be a littel late. but i don't think he need another visit. i only went one time to afghanistan. i submited about 10 different photos.

they just need photos from different events it could be like going to resturant wedding party anthing with differnt cloths and background.

I started my case around december 1th 2015 and got approvel from NVC in july 19 2016. i'm waiting for interview right now. hope they give very soon.

You can also ask some of your friend that lives in afghanistan to write a letter saying that they witnessed mariage of your borther. You don't need thier ID or passport. they just need to sign the letter. about 3 letter should be sufficeint.

Just keep in mind the photos need to have different background showing that it was taken in multi occasions.

He should be good. if he don't have 10 photos then he need to pay a visit.

also one thing that yon can include in your support dcoumnet. if he has text messages, emails or if he ever sent money to her you can use that as a prove too.

these are the the documents that i sent to NVC and they approved it.

hope this helps

Yousef

(By the way--I know this post is almost 2 months old, but it is not at ALL unusual that someone might lose their job if they say they're taking time off to visit their spouse! I don't know how things are in Canada, but welcome to the US! The majority of people I know would lose their jobs for such a thing. If you don't have vacation time--and at my job, they can deny your request to use your vacation time and say you'll have to try to schedule again later--you can't just go, unpaid. People lose their jobs after missing a day of work to take a sick child to the doctor!)
