I know from actual experience that withdrawing a I-129F petition had no effect on a Russian woman's future ability to get a tourist visa, business visa, or fiancé visa.

I had few other questions...

(1) Can my fiance' (the petionee) withdraw the application without me and would it be valid or am I (the petioner) the only one who can withdraw the application?

(2) What happens if I don't withdraw the application and just let it expire? (Not that I would do this but just curious)

(3) How long would I have to wait if I met another foreign bride before I can do another I-129F/K1? I heard it was two years is that correct? To be honest after this experience and seeing how complicated things got in the relationship after papers were involved I'm set on finding a good old American girl from Wisconsin haha.

So last time you got mad at EVERYONE for the advice and you are back for more.....

Lets hop at it.

1) she is allowed to also withdraw. All she needs is receipt number and her info.

2) nothing to be expected, you dont follow up thats on you!!

3)You can refile just need to submit an imbra waiver requesting them to excuse your previously approved I129F. (This is only if you Petition was approved and forwarded to NVC). If not approved you can withdraw and reapply no waiver needed....

If you dont want real answers you should prob not ask this board prepare for the answers.....

Ps New love as a new foreign bride seems a bit disattached...

@anafeliz - Maybe I'm the minority here but I would not feel comfortable telling some stranger on an internet forum to stay or leave his/her relationship. If I had a relateable experience I would share my experience but that would be as far as I would go.

By your own words, you said the relationship was over, there was trust issues, and you were not on speaking terms for 2 weeks. Then you asked for advice on what to do.

Good luck with your victimization attitude. You are not going to get much help.

Now, why the need to know more about cancelling the K-1 after criticising people for giving you advice on something you asked about?
