Scheduling interview for K1 before packet 3 - MEXICO

I was wondering when you asked them to print the invitation letter, how did you frame the situation? How did you word what you needed? I want to be clear as to what i am asking. 

 

Also, you needed this letter in order to enter the medical exam and fingerprints correct? I have the confirmation page from the DS-160 and the instruction page that highlights the details of our interviews and finger point appointment.

Hi Caroline!

Hmm... I can't remember the exact choice of words and especially because it was my wife who actually went to Juarez and requested the copy. I'm almost positive I told her to just say neither her or I had received it yet and the mail system in Mexico is not very dependable.

 

And yes, that "appointment letter" was asked for before they could start/let you in to the medical exam and the fingerprinting.
