Hi, Me and my US Fiance met online on November.
He cam to visit me on February 12 to February 19 this year. He proposed and 'put the ring on it" on the 18th.
He came back just recently, June 23 to July 2. He stayed only for 9 days.
I have photos of him with My Family, mom, and friends anyways. (Hope this could save us)
I often talk with his Mom through chat, skype and voice calls. (but never met yet personally)

I'm worried about the grounds for denials.

1. We first met online
2. Time we spent together seemed so short.
3. We have been in a relationship for a short period of time. :(
3. First meeting, He already proposed and asked me to marry him. (everybody would think its pretty fast!) Well, Me either, I couldn't believed it at first But the first words came out to my mouth that moment was a YES!. :D
4. Im 22 ans he's 34. Age gap. :(

He is Certain to visit me again for the 3rd time (only for few days). Whenever the interview date was, and go with me in the PH Embassy.
And If Everything works according to his plans, He will be coming along with his Parents (or either one of em).

Do we need more time and visits?

No, there is no time limit set on how long his visit should be to corroborate the legitimacy of your prospective case.seems like it is going to end up as a AOS case (personal view).they are going to ask some questions no matter what.good luck.

:time: You timeline is blank where are you in the process? Are you just filing the I-129F petition or starting the process at the embassy in Manila?

MOST only meet once in person before filing the I-129F petition. MOST meet online so no issue there. MOST have known each other for less than a year. AGE GAP! That isn't an age gap ;) Serious there is no issue there either.

The Majority are approved with less than that.... and larger age gaps ;)

(I was in the middle of answering this on the Philippines forum when it got jerked away.... :ranting: )

Well, our cases are very similar! I'm from Brazil, and I met my fiancee in december, also online. Our age difference is only 4 years though.

I would say it's enough, at least there are no objective requirements stating otherwise... anyway, keep the faith. You're not doing anything wrong!

hello :)

I don't think so it's a problem. As long as you can prove that your relationship is legitimate, you got photos together, etc.,and during the interview you can bring those photos, chat logs, phone calls, etc. Also as long as you two can prove that legally, you can get married, of course you do.

And if he can be with you during your visa interview, even better.

Your age gap, not that huge gap anyway.

Me and my husband now, 23 years age gap. and he was present during my interview.

Oh btw, during my interview, was able to talk to someone who was like met her fiancé once for a week, and they got engaged that fast too and she was able to passed the interview, with no problem.

Just relax and stay positive :) God bless. :)
