Please Kindly Advice me on what to do.

I am an Avid traveler, been to France, Switzerland,Germany,Japan, Australia, Uk, Hongkong, Korea and Ireland etc

The first time I applied for a B2 visa( I was married here, going with my wife and kids) to visit Hawaii USA, I was denied after been put on administrative leave for almost a month. 2 years after that, I applied for a conference visa, again given a 21g refusal but after 1 week, my visa was approved I was given a 2 years B1/B2 visa (I was already divorced a year earlier here but I have 2 kids), Although I couldnt make it for the particular conference due to some difficult situation but I later went for another conference and also Holiday for 2weeks in the US ( I have the proof of going to the conference) and came back immediately after 2 weeks (since I have a b1/b2 I believed I'm allowed to do both isn't it? but I didn't travel to the US after that.

Now my visa has expired and I applied to renew (I applied for a b1/b2 Tourist visa not like the previous which I applied for a conference) but it was denied, the guy (looking like a biker gang with long goatee..maybe doesn't like people of color or mood hmmmm) didnt even look at my documents, he asked me about my family ( I have 2 children and asked me about my previous visit and I told him.) until he said Unfortunately bla bla..

I have no intentions of living in the US, I have been there already and couldnt even stay too long, also didnt even go again until now that I wanted to go for a week holiday.

My Question is now that I have been denied, there is a work conference I want to go in December in California,

If I want to apply, what can I apply for? here is the explanation (1st time applied B2 denied, 2nd time applied B1 approved and went, 3rd time applied B1/B2 (because I had intentions of going to this conference in December But was Denied.

Now what do you think I should apply for? I fear if I apply for B2 tourist might be denied again or B1 because the consular might think I won't go for the particular one ( couldn't go for the exact conference 2years ago because the situation was so hard that I had to choose either go for the conference or loose my job and I decided to stay back, keep my job and go for another conference).

Any Advice or help, can I apply for B1 conference? won't they think I'm trying to play a trick or something.

I am a GENUINE traveler. no hidden intentions, I was surprised when he denied me, wanted to ask him why but I was TOO shocked , I just thanked him and left. but now I'm thinking of applying again in November cos the conference is in December.

All you can do is try. To get a visa for a work trip sounds more feasible. You can apply as many times you want.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Like the previous poster said, all you can do is apply and see. It seems yours denials were pretty random though. I think attending the conference (for whatever reason) may have worked against you and led to the subsequent denial.

The US denials won't affect your Canadian visa chances.

While first time denials of tourist visas can be pretty random, getting one denied when you used your last one correctly, and only once for two weeks, is rare. If you can figure out why that may have happened, it would help. For example do you have family in the USA, or a girlfriend? Why did you say you wanted to come vacation here?

We are not asking the color of your skin. What is your nationality?

I was gonna say, Republic of China passports are visa exempt to visit Canada.

and No, millions of black people visit US each year , it is hard to believe a visa was't issued because he is black.

Is the conference related to your work/business in Taiwan or just for your personal interests?

How long have you been working in Taiwan? It could be a factor in the CO decision making -> no strong ties to your current host country.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Thank you Wandy, Mancharse

I am not hiding anything btw and no other intentions been working same job almost 9years?. I have 2 kids and I love my life

Yes, I'll apply again and this time get over the nervousness. I'm just one of those people who isnt not good with interviews or being infront of a large audience, its just my personality. Has nothing to do with intentions or not.

Also I am not a racist, I always keep an open mind, have got friends and colleague from all over the world living in same city. we dine out n even travel together sometimes. Just making that clear but as it is, everyone isnt the same.

Don't give up, my friend. be positive. make sure you've done everything you can on your side, consult immigration professionals.

Although entering to US is a privilege , not a right. But you Do have every right to express your concerns, you Do have right to Ask.

if you think your denial is because illegitimate reason. submit a request for redress . email the consular/embassy or the us congress , even the president.

I didnt put up a message here to be criticized or talk about race or whatsoever ,this is the year 2016! That was in the past. I guess that is a sensitive topic, same as religion and other things, and yes I already mentioned my Nationality, please read through well.

I AM NOT a racist for pete sake my ex was white and my kids are mixed. So dont be telling me about that, and I'd like to focus more on fixing my mistakes and helpful advice on how to overcome the 2nd denial, I have been to 3 states in America ( read my post)so America isnt new to me! If you got issues about racism dont put that on me, I may be wrong my bad, I take it back, but I certainly do have freedom to express my view.Visa or no visa

I apologize if My post or comment offended anyone, I'd rather not talk about race or whatsoever, just the positive side of getting visa denials behind me.
