Who will receive packet 3? the petitioner or the beneficiary. and will it come by email or postal delivery? and How long, after the embassy receives the petition will i have to wait for packet3?

email the embassy with your case number and both the petitioner name and beneficiary name and they will give you the link to packet 3 , or just go to the embassy site and get it yourself , thats pretty much it , its just a doc that shows instructions

You sure don't need to wait around for that. Soon as you get case# you can control your pace. Go to GTB bank pay your Visa fee. Log on t ustraveldocs.com and register submit DS-160 and schedule your interview. Get your documents together and wait for interview.

Shouldnt I get docs before I schedule my appointment? Like physical and police report and does anybody know the cost for physical and police report?

It's all about how fast you want to get through to a interview You by now should already have the documents downloaded your financial AOS (I-134) package together. Police report can range N5000 to N10000 depends where he gets t. Of he is in Lagos and goes to main headquarters about N5000..

Medical expect to spend N30000 to N45000

medical cant be done until you schedule your interview and you have to have interview letter. I was merely instructed you to get that date before dates are months away you never hp they go fast.

Ok, my fiance completed his DS-160 and we are waiting on packet 3 (so he can get his medical done)...I told him he has to go to GT Bank to pay the application fee but when I went on the travel docs site to try and get packet 3...this is what I read:

Fee Payment Options

• Cash at Bank

  With the exception of K visa applicants who must pay at the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos, any nonimmigrant visa applicant can pay their visa application fee in cash at any GTBank branch. At the bank, you must write your fee payment amount and your telephone number in the U. S. visa fee collection slip available at the bank. After receiving your payment, the bank will give you a receipt.

So now I'm a bit confused...also it was said that we don't have to wait for packet 3 but won't he need the letter in packet 3 to present at medical? I've heard that you can schedule your own appointment but also was told by a recently approved k1 that the interview was given in their packet.......so confused now
