What do I need to do to schedule both medical exam and interview in same time frame?

As we are waiting in our NOA2, we are wondering what we need to know in order to be able to schedule the medical at saint Luke's and the interview for the same week.

It's not clear to me logistically how this happens and the guides aren't all that helpful.

What do we need to know and/or do for this to occur?

1) After your NOA2 arrives you get your MNL# from NVC http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/2-nvc-k-1

2) You can then setup your profile at USTRAVELDOCS, pay your visa fee and get your appointment scheduled http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/3-usem-k-1-visa , then complete DS-160 as you will need copies of the confirmation page for St. Luke's and the embassy. Print out copies of your interview confirmation for St. Lukes and the embassy as well.

3) St. Luke's is first come first served, normally a 2 day process (as long as there are no TB issues), complete the SLEC online pre-registration, http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/3-usem-k-1-visa

Later you will need to complete the CFO.

Embassy recommends completing the medical 5-7 days before the interview.

Thanks Hank, do you think it's conceivable to do the medical on a Monday and Tuesday and schedule the interview for Friday of the same week?

Yes it is possible, I do know of a few that pushed and got it done that way. If there is a hiccup it would be with the embassy, but odds are you could get the interview done without issue.

Don't forget you will need to complete CFO before exiting the Phils.

So after interview, she can fly back to cebu and do the CFO there while waiting for visa to be issued? Then once we have CFO and visa she is good to go and we can buy plane ticket right?

Your fiancee can complete CFO later in CEBU.

Just a heads up as I was a little confused and didn't want you to be also.... She can complete the CFO (Cebu is fine) without the visa but must return to get the CFO attached to her visa once it arrives OR she can wait for the visa and then attend CFO and get the sticker placed in the her passport THEN she is good to go

Yes this is one thing that we were aware of. She will probably do the CFO first before getting visa!
