Thank you. Is deployment a good enough reason not to be at the interview?

Yes, I believe so... You should probably make an infopass to check what you're supposed to do. Usually military service "outranks" everything else.

Is your timeline updated?

I didn't get RFE, just the interview invitation right away. I believe it is same for another person. Very strange. Hopefully they started with July cases though.

I didn't get rfe , it's interview invitation. I submitted all supporting documents. Really worried why they call for interview . M so worried

Early August CSC filer here, I just spoke to a second tier immigration officer and he told me a supervisor is reviewing my case and I will hear from them by mid September which is not even 3 weeks away. Wow, i was shocked and surprised, but I am so glad that my wait could be over soon. The officer told me it would be either an approval or an interview. 50/50. Hope it is the plain approval, if they want an interview, no big deal, bring it on, we are ready! So maybe CSC is moving forward, uh? Hang in there, guys

I really hope he didn't give us false hope... I am a late august filer and I have no hope to hear anything anytime soon. They haven't approved many June filers yet... We are getting ready to apply for my N400 though.. Thanks for sharing your news with us!

I told you before you would get your approval in September or October. I am happy for you:)  How did you get hold of a tier 2 officer?

I guess, but I will celebrate until I get my approval, we will see if I really will hear from them by Sept 15. You can call USCIS and tell them that you want to talk to a second tier immigration officer, they will transfer you. Thanks for the wish, good luck to you too.

What he told me also sounds to good to be true, but I guess the big take away is someone is finally reviewing my case, so we will see. My expectations were so low that i was shocked to hear I would hear from them in a bit more than 2 weeks, we will see. Have some faith.

With the recent news about mandatory interviews for certain immigration petitions, will this affect me as I have my removal of conditions pending (i751) along with my current N400? It said i485, but I can't remember when I filed that.

Thank you

Im sorry but I am sure you will be fine ! Hopefully you will get interviewed by someone nice.

Im sorry to ask but did you had an interview when you came? That is if you came in the us as a k1... cause we had this concern whether or no you can get two interviews for the same process. Thanks in advance! And then again, everything will be just fine.

Like I said, the officer told me I would hear from them by mid Sept and it will be either an approval or an interview, 50/50 percent chance.
