 It finally came to pass. Got my approval letter in the mail today. Online status still says case received. NOA 07/26, VSC approval 08/21 after one year one month and 2 days. For those still on waiting list,there is light at end of the tunnel

Thanks a lot for the swift response. I am glad you are over with this frustrating process. One last question did USCIS asked you to send 5 affidavits? Regards.

You're welcome! No, they didn't ask for a number I just sent 5 in total cause I didn't have much evidence.

Hi Everyone,

so I tried to submit a service request online. got the following Error:

The following error(s) need to be corrected:

• You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number.

I double checked the EAC number and its correct, the form I selected was I751, however when I check the case status it lists CR189 - PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, but there is no CR189 in the list for the service request

Can anyone help? is CR189 the same as I751? and why cant I submit the online service request, does anyone have a phone number for service requests?

I experienced the same thing, i think you need to use the receipt number in your biometrics letter for 751, the other one instead of your 751 case number in the biometrics letter.

Still have not seen any approvals, I have heard a lot of federal employees are on vacation now, maybe that is why. The June processing seems to have slowed down again. Here we go again.

Good luck. A friend of mine has been waiting for his 751 for 1 year and over 2 months, he submitted an inquiry and the notice he got was pointless, but polite saying they are sorry they can't tell him when they are going to review his case, but they are committed to adjudicate his case in a sufficient matter and bla bla bla.... Frustrating and kind of useless, just be prepared for that.

Congrats. So it took 1 year and 2 months, hopefully it will stay the same for July and August filers

I flew back into Orlando on Saturday evening having been back in the UK for 2 weeks. As I no longer have my PR card, only the stamp I had to go through secondary inspection to confirm I had the correct documents. I got chatting to the guy behind the counter who was very helpful, and he advised that he couldn't see anyone allocated to my case and wasn't sure how much longer I would be waiting for before I receive my new PR card, but he said hopefully you will receive it before the 6 month stamp expires (in February).

What's your NOA? If you filed on 6/27/16 you might be July filer with NOA received in July.

I got an interview invitation in the mail today for end of September, end of July filer, CSC. Frustrating, but at least some news. Hopefully they started looking at July filers finally, because my case was sent to my local field office beginning of July. Funny thing, earlier today I called USCIS Tier 2 and asked about my case, they said it is still pending, no news. Also few month ago I submitted change of address form, they confirmed it, the officer confirmed it and they still sent it to my old address. Few questions regarding the interview:

1. They requested "affidavit of third parties, that should be supported by documentary evidence and must be sworn to or affirmed by at least 2 people" - does it have to be notarized? And what kind of evidence can I provide with those statements?

 2. If I'm married to US citizen, does it mean that we file jointly? Because it says in that case that my spouse should be at the interview with me, or they might delay my application, and he is out of the country and will be at the time of interview.
