Hi, we sent in our forms to Vermont on Friday 7/22, and they arrived there on Monday 7/25. I am a little worried that the check has not been cashed yet. When does this generally happen?

Hi Elena,

Just for reference, USCIS received my package on Friday 7/22 and our check was cashed on Tuesday 7/26. I filed to the California center though, if that makes a difference. Just hang in there, it should be cashed today or tomorrow :)

01/22/2020: Interview scheduled

02/26/2020: Interview.

We sent ours 7/7, arrived in VSC 7/8 and the cash was not checked until 7/13 (sat and sunday I'm guessing they weren't working). NOA1 was received 7/14 (dated 7/11) and got our biometrics yesterday for 8/8. Hang in there, it will be cashed soon enough

I am really hoping that my biometrics is either on a Friday or a Monday since the drives to the Immigration office is 6hrs away. Do you guys think I can call and request a specific day of the week?

Please anyone can help me with few last questions filing I 751. I have all the copies of documents required as well as evidence of bonafide marriage. All I need is to complete the aplication form, print it, sign it and make copies of it along with the check and send the package. I want to send it tomorrow but I have few more questions. I posted them as a new topic and out of 92 views no one had any answers I guess.

I am the petitiones of RoC and I have a child from previous marriage who is listed in part 5. Do I need to submit a copy of his birth certificate? He is US citizen.

Part 1 Physical address

17.a. In Care Of Name...what is the answer for this part?

Part 2 Biographic information

1. Ethnicity. I checked HISPANIC OR LATINO ( I am Mexican)

2. Race . I can't relate to any of the options after reading the explanation of each...what should I check here?

I am filling up the form, we are not using help from a 3rd party, so I should write N/A on part 9,10 and all the boxes that don't apply including part 11?

I hope anyone can help me with the previous questions so I can send my package tomorrow. I had a great deal of help 2 years ago while preparing my AOS, on the May thread we all help each other as well as on the general AOS forum. I have been MIA until now, I hope things hasn't changed much as far as people helping each other.

We will be filing the I-751 in next few days.

Husband of Petitioner is a naturalized US citizen.

In Part-4, Information about the US Citizen or Lawful PR Spouse, question 5: "A-number (if any)"; does he need to put his A# from the Citizenship Certificate or state "N/A" because he is already a Citizen of the US?

There is conflicting information on Web (including VJ) about this.

I received the NOA1 yesterday dated 07/22. I think there was a glitch in their system, they sent me 2 identical NOA1's with different WAC numbers and receipt times (one says they received my package at 19:05, one says 19:11)/

I was wrong calculating 90 days. I thought before 3months of GC anniversary . I mailed my I-751 on 26th but my eligibility date is 29th July. Thanks to USPS for updating my scheduled delivery date to 30th July.

10/11/16 (Day 71) Biometrics completed. *Also, received on the mail response letter from previous service request filed with copy of Biometrics appointment letter.

11/11/17 (Day 466) Case Status changed to New Card Production

11/16/17 (Day 471) Case Status indicate  New Card being sent on the mail .:dance::dance::D:dance::dance::dance:

11/17/17 (Day 472) I-797  Notice of Removal of Condition being approved received in the mail.

11/20/17 (Day 475/15 months 18 days) New Lawful Permanent Resident arrived in the mail; card in hand at last! :dancing:
