I think July  CSC filers will probably have to wait till September or October for them to get to July's piles. Very frustrating as we see VSC going fast in approving..

We received the approval letter on Saturday.  What's crazy is we went to the infopass appointment on July 13th and the date of decision in the letter is July 14th.  Just like some others in the group, the on-line status has not been updated.

 

Good luck to everyone who isn't approved yet.   It will happen!!!

Got my I-797 yesterday, decision date 7/12/2017.

Filed VSC 3/7/2016

Biometrics 8/25/17

 

Could you add me to the list please?

 

Also, does anyone have an idea how long the GC takes to arrive right now? Is it really 60 days? I have to travel in about 6 weeks, so do I still need to get an infopass appointment?

I'm assuming you had a typo on the date you filed.   It would have been in July and not March, right?

Congrats to those VSC filers who were approved, but I am getting so tired. When there is a approval now, it is always 100 percent from VSC. None of CSC July filers have been touched, and it is almost August.

If the letter says 60 days, then it is 60 days, but most likely you will get it in a few weeks. Congrats, but it is so frustrating that you are worried about when you will get your green card while us CSC filers' approvals are indefinite. Maybe you should just enjoy the moment and celebrate your approval and stop worrying about when you are going to get your green card, just a suggestion..it is simple, if you get close to your traveling date, and you still do not get your green card, than make an info pass appointment, not a big deal. I Can't speak for CSC filers, but it is getting very unfair when VSC is approving applications left and right, and CSC is barely moving. Please allow me to be mad and frustrated, I personally have been waiting for almost a year. Two more weeks, and it will be a year. Any July CSC filers who got approved? Post here ASAP.

I Can't speak for CSC filers, but it is getting very unfair when VSC is approving applications left and right, and CSC is barely moving. Please allow me to be mad and frustrated, I personally have been waiting for almost a year. Two more weeks, and it will be a year. Any July CSC filers who got approved? Post here ASAP.

Back in 2013, the opposite was true for the K1.  I remember CSC seemed to be faster than VSC.     It's all going to happen, you're going to get your approval and there is really nothing any of us can do.  The main things is don't get mad over things that are outside your control - you'll have a better day

Nov 19, 2012 - NOA1 recieved

June 13, 2013 - NOA2 approved.

June 17, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy received.

June 25, 2013 - Consulate received
July 7, 2013 - Packet 3 received

July 13, 2013 - Packet 3 sent

July 28, 2013 - Packet 4 received

Aug 22, 2013 - Interview scheduled and APPROVED!!! kicking.gif

Sept 17, 2013 - Visa in hand

Sept 18, 2013 - Traveled to USA - Arrived at Dulles Airport in Virginia.

Sept 20, 2013 - Wedding!!!

Of coure there is nothing we can do, but it is natural to feel frustrated. It is human nature.

Got biometrics on 10 October, after talking to the tier officer.

Still waiting, went for an infopass appointment on July 10, got an extension stamp for a year. They gave me my GC back, just cut the corner.

The woman I talked to told me that my case is in the field office already and maybe soon I will get some news.

She also told me that I can't apply for naturalization until I get my GC approved. 

Well, do you know that the cases get approved in services centers and only transferred to field offices if service centers have doubts on if they should approve it.
