why you guys have a number with WAC......  and i have  a numbre with EAC........                                At my first green card (2 Year) was with WAC...

It means your initial green card was approved as a result of a petition filed with the California Service Center, and you applied for your removal of conditions at the Vermont Service Center.

USCIS operates the following five service centers, and the first three letters on a petition represent which center it was filed with.

EAC - Vermont Service Center, formerly known as the Eastern Adjudication Center

WAC - California Service Center, formerly known as the Western Adjudication Center.

SRC - Texas Service Center, formerly known as the Southern Resource Center.

LIN - Nebraska Service Center, formerly known only as Lincoln.

MSC - The National Benefit Center, formerly known as the Missouri Service Center.

- Removal of Conditions Timeline -

07/31/17 - Mailed I-751 package to California Service Center

08/01/17 - Package delivered to CSC

08/05/17 - NOA1 received by US mail

08/10/18 - Rec'd new NOA1 with 18 month extension instead of 12 months

10/15/18 - Case transferred to Nebraska

12/26/18 - ROC Approved

We had our infopass appointment today to have her the I-551 stamp in our passport.  We arrived 15 minutes before the appointment, walked through the metal detectors and were greeted by the receptionist.  She told us to go in and stand at the stop sign.  There was no one in line and we were called right away.  The lady looked at our appointment sheet, asked a question, gave us a #, and asked us to take a seat and wait.  It was maybe 2 minutes and our # was called.

The gentleman asked why we were here and my wife told him that her extension was expiring in August and she would like to get the I-551 stamp.  He asked if I was her husband and then looked into the system.   The stamp he provided is good for another year.  The whole process from entering into the building to leaving was 15 mins.

He did tell us the case was assigned to someone so we should be hearing from them soon

Good news...

Everytime I want to file a service request for form I-751. It says this....

"You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number."

I used this receipt number

"On August 3, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number #########"

What form did you used to file for the service request?

I believe I used the number that is on your biometrics letter.

Did you try that one?

I've been calling them once a month for updates. Last time when I asked an operator for the reason why CSC has slowed down recently, she got no idea and suggested to make an infopass to ask an officer. I am going to an infopass in a few days to see if there are any updates on my case and see how long more we need to wait. i will also ask for a stamp in my passport as I'm traveling outside of the country in September, which is overlapping with my NOA anniversary. Is it required that my husband (US citizen) come with me to my appointment? Is it common to go to the local office to get updates on a case?

You are not able to get a stamp unless your expiration date is within 30 days.      Your husband does not have to be there.   You just need your green card and your letters.

That is not correct. YOU CAN GET a stamp within 3 months. I got mine within 2 months and 24 days from the actual expiration of my extension date. It all depends on the officer and on your reasons.

You need to get a infopass before the expiration. If you don't like parking take your car to a train station and then go to downtown chicago via train or uber. lol

No they did not. They keep the expired green card because the stamp on the passport is basically functioning as a green card for one year. So I am good until 7/2018.

It only updates when your card production begins. Most likely USCIS have not ordered your card to be produced. Once they do, your online status should be updated.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

More Importantly, I am a proud Anti-Fascist!

@LUAL is incorrect. There is no particular timeline for getting the stamp. In theory you don't need the stamp at all, since your status doesn't change during the process until they adjudicate your application. If you want to travel (or if you need the stamp to get a new job or a drivers licence or a mortgage), you can make an infopass and get the stamp even after the expiration of the extension.

Is your timeline updated?
