I've been calling since last week pretty much every day and I've been told to wait as my case is under normal processing time:unsure:. One officer decided he wanted to create a service request on my behalf and I should hear a response before the 20th..

Good luck Zombie Dear. CSC is taking average 13 months to approve whereas VSC 11 months. It is a very good idea to file for N-400 on 7/31 because based on the present processing timeline you would be lucky to get your approval in September. There is a possibility you would get your GC before N-400 approval or concurrently. Overall by filing N-400 you are saving time which is wonderful idea. Regards

Thanks for the encouragement, but unfortunately, I think it is going to take 1.5 years for CSC filers to be approved. You are a August filer as well?

Ouch, but trust me, you will get where I am of 11 months of waiting. It is just too bad that CSC appears to be so far behind, hang in there. The earlier we are approved, the better you will be off!

Just called USCIS to speak with a tier 2 officer and he told me I called yesterday and there's no change still, that I have to wait.

 

This whole wait is making me anxious :whistle:

MY GC anniversary date will be 10/27/2017. I checked the 90 days early applying for N400, 90 days prior to the 3 years. So I am going to prepare N400 application for naturalization this month 07/29/2017. Thanks to all and all the best.
